Windows 8 Super Mode (or God Mode) is the same as it was in Windows 7 or Vista, but it’s organized differently. The Super Mode for Windows Server 2012 works as well.
You’ll be presented with a very detailed window with shortcuts to every single options which can be found through many clicks in control panel. This is handy to have as shortcut on the desktop or you can also pin it to the taskbar as a shortcut folder.
If you open the folder, you’ll see All the Control Panels items listed…
There is two ways of creating Super Mode:
- New > Shortcut instead and in the Location of the item field, type the following:
- Right-click on your desktop, select New > Folder and give it the following name:
You’ll end up with a shortcuts like those:
In both cases, you can pin up a shortcut to the start menu for easy access. If using Windows Server 2012, you’ll gain easy access to the function.
The super mode works on both x32 or x64 versions of Windows 8. The Server 2012 exists only in 64 bit version.
The Windows Server 2012 uses also most of the same shortcuts as in W2008 (or 2008R2). If you want to check out different ways how to log off, just see my post How to log off Windows Server 2012 – there is 5 different ways to do it.
